† R.I.P. Roy Batson † 

(Feb. 11) PLEASE PRAY FOR THE SOUL of ROY BATSON. The Solemn High Requiem Mass of the Resurrection at the Church of the Ascension for the repose of the soul of ROY G. BATSON, JR. will be celebrated Monday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. Roy, a longtime parishioner, moved to his native Jackson, Mississippi, upon his retirement from Tiffany & Co., but maintained an apartment in Chicago and made frequent visits to Ascension. Roy died of cancer on February 11, 2009.
