Ascension Food Pantry under the Patronage of St. Anthony of Padua
Ascension’s Food Pantry was established by parishioners to address food insecurity in our neighborhood. Each month Ascension's food pantry provides 160-190 individuals, predominantly senior citizens, with grocery bags of non-perishable food items and toiletries not covered by government assistance programs. On the first Saturday of each month, volunteers gather at 9 a.m. in St. Michael’s Hall to assemble grocery bags for distribution. New volunteers are always invited to join.
