Prayers & Reflections - Devotion to Our Mother Mary

On October 26, 2019, we held our second members' meeting at the Church of the Ascension in Wheeler Hall. Prayers and reflections were led by our own Mother Judith from the Order of Saint Anne which was attended by eleven devoted SoM members. We read and contemplated on the scripture of St. Luke Chapter 1, verses 26 to 56 from the Announcement of the Birth of Jesus, Mary Visits Elizabeth and The Canticle of Mary (the Magnificat). Before these spiritual prayers and reflections, we all gathered for an amazing Filipino themed breakfast, followed by the membership meeting and the SoM Secretary election. We are happy to announce that George Dante M. Pineda, will be serving a two-year term to help shepherd its members in a spiritual Marian devotion and journey under the guidance of its ward - SoM Our Lady of Victory of the Church of the Ascension.
