The Society of Mary - Our Lady of Victory

Society of Mary of the Church of Ascension Goals:

1. To love and honor Mary
2. To spread devotion to her in reparation for past neglect and misunderstanding and in the cause of Christian Unity
3. To take Mary as a model in purity, personal relationships and family life

The Society of Mary of the Church of Ascension is dedicated to the glory of God and will honor our Lady Mary, with the following guidelines:

1. Member shall keep a special devotions to our Lady Mary, pray the Rosary, the Litany and Anthems of Our Lady Mary
2. Members will engage in apostolic and pastoral work, according to opportunity, under the guidance of our ward - SOM Our Lady of Victory
3. Members will take part in the Mass on all the principal Feasts of Our Lady Mary
4. Members will pray for the departed members and offer mass for the members of the Church the Ascension, specially for all the of Society of Mary members  who have gone before us
5. Members will pray for peace, love and compassion in the world

Membership:
The membership are processed through the SOM American Region Office. Membership year begins in May 1st and the costs is $15.00 USD annually.

Renewals:

• Renewal notices are mailed by the Membership Administrator. Once received, current members in good standing may renew for the coming year.
• Renewals may also be sent via US Mail to the P. O. Box noted below. By renewing on-line members will receive an annual email reminder to renew.

The Rosary and the Society of Mary
The rosary has traditionally been said and continues to be said after the Solemn High Mass on the first Sunday of each month and  the third Saturday of each month after the Public Mass of Healing service at 10:00 AM .

The once-active Society of Mary is presently being renewed, with leadership from parishioner George Dante M Pineda, the Rector and others. They are looking for opportunities to expand the devotion of the rosary as well as new opportunities for education, retreat, celebration and service.

First Sunday of every month 
following the 10 a.m. Solemn Mass. 

Our other shared rosary will be every 3rd Saturday of each month
following the 10am Mass for  Healing. (Temporarily Postponed due to the Corona Covid-19 Pandemic)
